The Non-Commercial Joint-Stock Company Kostanay Regional University named after Akhmet Baitursynuly, in accordance with paragraph 7 of the Rules for the procurement of goods, works, and services necessary for conducting scientific research funded from the state budget, approved by Order No. 538 of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 26, 2024, within the framework of the scientific project PCF BR24992785 “Organization and implementation of comprehensive research to ensure sustainable development of the agro-industrial complex of the Kostanay region with the establishment of a research and technological center”, announces a tender for the procurement of equipment for scientific research.

Technical Specifications of the Procured Equipment

MALDI Biotyper Sirius System (Code: 1890101), Bruker Daltonics GmbH & Co. KG, Germany.
Bench-top time-of-flight mass spectrometer with matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization (MALDI-TOF) capability and software for identification of bacteria, yeasts, and filamentous fungi.

System Requirements:

  • Operation in both positive and negative ionization modes
  • Mass range: 1 to 500,000 Da
  • Mass range for microorganism identification: 2,000 to 20,000 Da
  • Mass range for resistance detection: 1 to 1,000 Da
  • Long-life 200 Hz laser with a guaranteed lifespan of 500 million shots
  • Analysis speed: 600 samples per hour, or no more than 5 minutes for 95 samples, with report generation in Russian
